DESCRIPTION:“Highlighting the Best in Local Products and Services.” Area businesses will be on display for area residents and visitors to explore what our business community has to offer. \nFree Admission. Open to the Public. Coastal Consumer Showcase – Thursday\, February 13\, 2025 @ St. James Community Center-4pm-7pm. \nNo matter if you are new to the area or just want to know what’s new to the area\, the Coastal Consumer Showcase is a must attend event. \nWe know that sometimes it is difficult to find a business that provides a product or service. You can search the Chamber’s Business Directory but going to an event where you can see the product or talk with the business owner about their services\, is extremely valuable. For this reason\, the Chamber holds the Coastal Consumer Showcase. \nThe Coastal Consumer Showcase is held annually each winter from 4pm-7pm at the St. James Community Center\, 4136 Southport-Supply Road\, St. James\, NC 28461. The Showcase is a public event organized by the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce. \nThere are many free giveaways provided by the participating businesses. \n• Free Samples \n• Free Giveaways \n• $100 Cash Drawing \n• Pick-A-Prize \nAuction Admission is free. Register for the $100 Cash Drawing. \nEach vendor will donate prize for the Pick-A-Prize Auction. Those who register for the $100 Cash Drawing will receive one ticket for the Pick-A-Prize Auction. You may purchase as many additional auction tickets as you would like: 5 tickets for $5.00 and 20 tickets for $10.00. At 6:30pm the Chamber will draw the winners for the Pick-A-Prize Auction prizes and will notify the winners ASAP by email. Winners will pick up their prize at the business donating the item. The Chamber will notify the winner of the Cash Drawing ASAP as well. \nWhat is a Pick-A-Prize Auction? Register and get a free ticket or purchase additional tickets. There will be a “bag” in front of each prize at every vendor booth. You determine which prize(s) you would like to a chance to win. Then you place your ticket(s) in the bag(s) of that prize(s).
